So it's been a few days since I posted. Mom is in CA now spending time with her dad. He's probably going to go soon, as in the next few days. We miss her and check in with her often. Having her live with us may have seemed crazy to some, but we love having her in our daily lives.
I saw Kimberly on Wednesday night. She came to town with a group of friends from the SLC area. They are a book "club" I guess is the best term for them. They LOVE the Twilight series like I do. They are soooo much fun and they came to see Forks & Port Angeles where the books take place. They get together at least once a month and do fun things like discussing the books, twilight pictionary and lunches together. I wish I had a group like that here.
I got a mani/pedi today and decided to try getting my lip waxed. WOW it was crazy cause she put this stuff on my lip after we were done and it made it numb like I had a dental procedure done. At least they cleaned up the messy cuticles & dry feet I usually have. I love being girly.
We went swimming with my friend Jamie and her two daughters last night. And on Thursday night they came over and we walked Cheryl's dog Magic. Maranda (Jamie's oldest) was FREAKED out by the mini horse. I used to be but now I LOVE her and dogs in general. We are planning some fun summer adventures even though summer is practically over.

I'm sorry to hear about your grandpa, but glad to hear that your mom is being able to spend this precious time with him.
Everyone has been telling me how good the Twilight series is, and I can't wait to read it, but I'm like 14th in line at the local library. Oh, well. Maybe I can borrow it from someone around here. People say it's right up there with Harry Potter. You'll have to tell me your opinion on that. =) I'm glad you got to do some girly stuff--it always makes me feel like a million dollars, and totally invigorated.
