Here's a few photos from the boy - he weighed in today at 12 lbs 12 oz...Yeah he was 4 weeks on Monday. He's an eater!!!

P.S. - I will post more when we get back from Great Grandma Hancock's funeral this weekend. What a first month we have had!!

Cute nephew & Talking

So things are starting to get into a slightly easier pattern so I will post pictures and stories hopefully tomorrow. BUT I had to share a story my sister told me a little bit ago. When I was so sick she reminded her kids to pray for Auntie Lee (that's what they call me) that she get better and for Tiernan (or Auntie Lee's baby since the little ones can't say Tiernan yet) that he not get sick....Well when it was Seth's turn (he's about to turn 5), this is the prayer he would say "Dear Heavenly Father, please bless Auntie Lee's baby to not get swine flu. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen." LOL That is all he said all day when it was his turn to pray; praying over food, family prayer, breakfast, lunch and dinner!! What a cutie! I can't wait till Tiernan says cute things like that.

Speaking of talking...He started "talking" just this morning. He cooed for Nana before she left for work, he "talked" to Daddy on the phone and even Auntie Kimberly got to hear his vocals. I cannot believe how big he is already. I love this child so much and he just got here!!! It is truly amazing.

Life is precious...

Life is so precious and can be so fragile at times. Go hug and kiss your loved ones, they are the most important things we have...

Newborn Shots

So I have a really bad sinus infection and am feeling pretty cruddy still. A friend came today to take some newborn shots of our precious boy. I will post more tomorrow if I start to get my energy back, but here's the one that Daddy loves the best...I wonder why?? :)

Update

So we don't really think I got the flu because I never had any other symptoms besides some body aches (mainly in abdominal area) and the fever. My fever should have broken and stayed away after being on Tamiflu for 48 hours....as of this morning I am on my 4th day of Tamiflu and currently have a temp of 100.3. I called the nurse hotline last night and they don't think I had either versions of the flu because I never had any respiratory problems (and Eric did...) So we went through other symptoms and I might have a UTI or an infection at my incision site. I have my incision check appt today at 3:15 pm today so I should know more info later today. **Update - No UTI and no incision infection...so now I just have to ride this out...**

With all that said, that's why I have not felt better to post the whole birth/hospital experience and fun times since we got home. I will do this when I feel good enough to sit at the computer for longer than 5 minutes. One thing I thought would be cute to share are the nicknames we already have Tiernan!

Tiernan Mark Davis

Tiernan was born Monday the 12th at 1:34 pm. He was 10 lb 9 oz. I am WAY too tired to post much else but look at his going home from the hospital outfit! More soon to follow...
