Although today is cooler - this week has been ridiculous!!! 100 degree heat in Washington for one whole week?? I mean no one here has AC in their houses so we all roast every night. It just sucks. I have been a patron of the local movie theater so I am sure they appreciate the heat. I saw My Sister's Keeper and I loved it....till the last five or ten minutes. I was so disappointed with the way they ended it. I read the book and was so shocked that they could change it so much. But besides that dramatic change it was good - a tear jerker for sure and I was crying after about 5-10 minutes.
SPOILER ALERT - If you have not seen Harry Potter yet and don't want me to ruin it please stop reading. I will be as vague as possible but don't want to ruin it for anyone.
So this week I have also seen Harry Potter and it was freaking awesome. I actually liked some of the things they added that were not in the book. Was a little disappointed with the way there was so much emphasis on the half blood prince and then about 20 seconds of explanation about it but I don't think there was much explanation in the book either now that I think about it. I think it just seemed rushed in the movie. I was bouncing and anxious as soon as Harry & Dumbledore left for their seaside adventure. OH BOY it was just good. I think this is how the movies should have been from the beginning and definitely my favorite movie so far.
